United we strong, divided we fall.
France team's issue is one of the serious drama happened on this year WC.
France players were long said being not satisfied of how Domenech trains and set the team line-up.
And their loss against Mexico seemed to make Anelka couldn't stand it no more.
It was reported that Anelka protested and bursted out to the coach some dirty lines, but cmiiw he denied it and refused to apologize. Therefore, one way ticket to get back home was his result.
On the other hand, Argentina and Nigeria were becoming the first team to (almost) got through and (almost) went home. Argentina enjoyed two winnings in a row, while Nigeria experienced the opposite =w=
It was South Korea that Argentine defeated (4-1, and one of it was an own goal by South Korea), and Nigeria lost 1-2 to Greece.
USA vs Slovenia was no less dramatic.
It was 2-0 for Slovenia at the 1st half of the game, but USA did some equalizers to make it 2-2 at the 2nd half.
USA did score their third goal, but the referee cancelled since it was called as offside.
I saw on TV how USA players (and their coach) were very unsatisfied.
I even saw Bradley chased after the referee insisting to protest (but one of his teammates pulled him away).
And England... sigh... they still haven't done any good progress.
It was a tie 0-0 against Algeria.
It was also reported a fan managed to enter England's dressing room (but saying that he was only looking for bathroom).
The guy said he exclaimed to Beckham of his dissapointment, while Beckham said to the press that the man was only saying hello.
